YSI is seeking a new Network Lead to steward the Collaborative for the next 3 years!

Position Overview

The YSI Collaborative is looking for a strategic thinker AND hands-on and practical do-er to lead remote teams in developing two emerging regional youth-organizing hubs in Northern Ontario (Algoma and Thunder Bay), and support the further development of YSI’s provincial infrastructure with YSI network members in Toronto and throughout the province.

With a passion for working collaboratively with people and communities, and with strong foundations in youth engagement to create positive social change, the ideal candidate is someone who brings a sense of adventure, tenacity, and joy to their work.  You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of new programs, developing and supporting remote teams, maintaining existing network connectivity, growth and exchange, and leading the strategic direction of YSI.  Experience with grant and budget management, building networks and partnership development is essential.

Critical to YSI’s work is the building of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Priority will be given to candidates who can positively work across cultures in communities, affirming in their practice, the acknowledgement, respect and gratitude to our province’s ancestry and stewardship.
